Not just a DJ related Tshirt. This is an uchi DJ related Tshirt

This weekend the uchi clothing co finally completed the last track from the Art of War album.

"Although we've been real busy doing other things, we've pretty much procrastinated over this single design for over a year" confesses uchi. "During that time we've watched Tshirts come and go with the same subject matter and it's only spurred us on to create the definitive DJ joint".

The 27th track entitled "These are The Breaks" reunites your favourite oldskool machines for one last time for your enjoyment.

"A perfect track to end our third album with" says Enjil the Mathematican, "we feel as if we've wiped the slate clean and starting a new journey with a fresh perspective".

"These are The Breaks" will be released next week and available online from the uchi store.

Bristol Bell: A New Typeface

OK, so it's got nothing to do with clothing. We don't care. It's all hiphop nonetheless.

Introducing Bristol Bell. A display font based on the Didone/Transitional style created by uchi typelabs. With reduced contrast between thick and thin strokes and bracketed serifs it's an ideal typeface for display purposes. Commissioned by FruitSalad Photographic Company to accompany a series of posters of the City of Bristol the font had to invoke an industrial past whilst remaining both elegant and robust. A work in progress but here are the capitals for your enjoyment.
